The WSSC maintains more than 5,500 miles of water main and 5,500 miles of sewer main within Montgomery County and Prince George’s County, Maryland. The Pipeline Construction Division manages the rehabilitation and replacement of those mains as well as associated house connections and paving.
To complete this mission, the WSSC uses in-house staff as well as consultant staff to provide inspection, contract management and additional support services.
